275 Programming Services

The HART 275 Communicator was discontinued by its manufacturer, Emerson Process Management, in 2004 and spare parts support ended in 2007. Given the large number of 275 communicators still in use, the HART Communication Foundation (HCF) will continue to offer programming services for the 275 handheld.

The last set of DD's for the 275 was published in June 2006 and only a mix of those DDs can be programmed into the 275 communicator. DDs published after June 2006 are not supported by the 275.

The HCF provides services to upgrade Device Descriptions in 275 HART Communicator memory modules at a cost of $400 per module. Anyone requiring these services should contact Irina Kadukova at the HCF.
